"Not much variety, honestly"
I kept seeing the same kinds of shows pop up over and over. I mean, you’d expect a decent mix if you’re browsing for something new, but there just wasn’t much there that appealed to me. I was hoping for more options

"Pretty easy to use"

"The lighting really threw me off"
The lighting was so dim that I kept noticing tiny things just because I was struggling to see them, like the edges of the room and the details right in front of me. It sounds minor, but it pulled me out of the whole experience. I spent more time squinting than actually enjoying it

"Bus ride was super easy"
I don’t remember every detail of the night, but I do remember getting there by bus was really easy. The stop was close by, no hassle at all, and it just made everything feel way less stressful

"Loved the view from our seats"
I’m probably a bit picky about where I sit at shows, but these seats were great. We could see the stage really clearly the whole time, with no leaning around people or annoying blocked spots. It made the night so much easier to just relax and enjoy. I’d definitely book these again.

"Nice sound, maybe a little too loud"
I mostly remember the sound being really clear, which was great. There were a couple times it felt a bit louder than I expected, but overall I had a good experience with it.

I went to the Mercury Theatre and stopped by the bar before the show. i felt a bit misled by the idea that theatre bars are always slow, stressful, or overpriced, because this was nothing like that. The staff were really friendly, we got served quickly even though it was busy, and the drinks were fairly priced. It just made the evening feel easy and relaxed. I’d happily go again.

"Good show, but the seats were a struggle"
I went to see a show here the performance itself was really good. But the seats kind of ruined it for me. Maybe I’m just being a bit picky, but they felt really cramped and uncomfortable quickly, and by the interval my back was already aching. I’d probably think twice about booking again unless I knew the seating had improved.

"Box office wasn’t exactly helpful"
I tried calling the box office to change my tickets, and I can’t say it wasn’t frustrating. It took forever to get through, and when someone finally picked up, they sounded rushed and like they didn’t really want to deal with it.
I know they’re probably busy, so I’m not saying they don’t have a lot going on, but the info I got wasn’t clear and I ended up having to email anyway. The show itself was fine, but the box office side of things could definitely use some work

They did help me get things sorted out, so I can’t really complain too much. It just took longer than I’m used to compared to other places I’ve dealt with. Overall, the service was okay, but I wish the response time had been quicker.

"I went to the Mercury Theatre last..."
I went to the Mercury Theatre last week and my only regret is that I hadn’t been before. The inside is lovely — modern, but still warm and cosy rather than cold or overdone. The seating areas, lighting and colours all just felt really well thought out. Even the bar area was nice and relaxed for a drink before the show. it was just a really pleasant place to spend an evening, and I’d happily go back.

"Pretty well organised, though a little slow"
Overall it was a decent night. The queues were moving, maybe not super fast, but they didn’t feel completely stuck either. Staff seemed to know what they were doing, which helped. It just felt like things could’ve been a bit quicker, especially because… yeah, it was fine, just slightly slow in parts.

"Decent pre-show dinner, but a bit careless"
We grabbed dinner here before the play, and it was just okay. The staff were friendly enough, but service dragged a bit, and everything felt a little careless. My plate looked like it had been rushed out without much attention, and the main itself was average. It wasn’t a terrible meal, but for the price, I expected things to be handled with a bit more care.

The show itself was okay, though I’m not totally sure it was worth the effort in the end. Parking near the theatre was a real pain, we drove around for ages and still ended up having to walk quite a bit further than expected. It would be especially awkward if you’re running late or going with older family members. I’d definitely think twice about driving next time.

"Nice and tidy when we went"
I went to the Mercury Theatre last week and, the place looked clean overall. The seats, floors, and bar area were all tidy, and it didn’t feel grubby or uncared for at all.
The toilets weren’t unclean either, just noticed one bin was getting a bit full after the interval. Nothing major though, and I wouldn’t have no problem going back again...

Really liked it here. Had a warm, relaxed feel as soon as we walked in, and it wasn’t too big or loud. Just a nice buzz before the show. Seats were comfy enough too. I’d go back

"Super easy to book"
I booked my tickets through mercurytheatre.co.uk and the whole thing was really straightforward. I found the show quickly, chose my seats without any hassle, and the payment went through straight away. The confirmation email arrived almost immediately too. it was a smooth experience from start to finish, and I’d definitely use it again next time

"Pretty good membership, but they make you hunt a bit"
I signed up for the Mercury membership mostly so I could get early booking, it’s been really useful for busy shows. The ticket deals are a nice bonus too. The website was mostly fine, but finding the full list of benefits took longer than it should have, not sure why they make that part so tucked away. Still, overall I’m happy with it and it’s been worth it for me.

"Honestly, I’m annoyed"
I had a really disappointing experience, it felt like they just didn’t have things together. Everything seemed disorganised, and instead of enjoying the evening, I ended up frustrated and annoyed. I expected a lot better for what I paid, but it really didn’t feel worth the money at all. Maybe other people had a better time, but I’d blame the poor planning for ruining it for me, and I definitely wouldn’t be rushing back.
